It started with a simple feeling: this shouldn’t be so hard. Velp was born from a real, everyday struggle that millions of parents face. Managing school updates through multiple group chats. Coordinating pickups, activities, and last-minute help. Trying to stay on top of everything—while already doing so much. It wasn’t just busy. It was fragmented. Overwhelming. And lonely at times.

For Sirisha Cheruvu, a Bay Area mom and product leader, this wasn’t just a problem—it was personal.
